Supporting the Systems That Keep You Moving
Plant-Based Nutrition for Healthy Aging & Active Longevity
SunNutrition was founded in 2024 with a simple belief: longevity is about more than adding years to life. It is about maintaining the circulation, strength, mobility, and energy to keep doing what you love.
We create targeted, plant-based nutritional solutions for two foundational systems that become increasingly important as we age: the vascular system which keeps blood, oxygen, and nutrients moving throughout the body, and the muscular system which gives us strength, stability, mobility, and independence.
Decades of Experience. A New Mission.
SunNutrition was founded by Denley Fowlke and Nick Stern, longtime innovators in plant-based nutrition and two of the founding partners behind Sunwarrior.
Their partnership began in 2007 at a raw food festival in Sedona, Arizona. Denley brought decades of exploration into nutrition and natural wellness, while Nick brought a background in competitive athletics and a lifelong interest in nutrition, supplementation, and performance.
Together, they recognized an emerging need for better plant-based nutrition, particularly for people who wanted to build and maintain muscle. Their ideas helped lead to the creation of Sunwarrior in 2008 and the development of one of the early plant-based protein brands to reach worldwide distribution.
In 2024, Denley and Nick reunited around a new question:
What does the body need to remain strong, active, and resilient as we age?
That question became SunNutrition.
Two Systems. One Longevity Mission.
Healthy aging depends on interconnected systems working together.
Your vascular system delivers blood, oxygen, and nutrients throughout the body. Supporting healthy circulation and vascular function helps create the foundation for energy, movement, and performance.
Your muscular system gives you the strength to turn that energy into movement. Maintaining healthy muscle supports strength, stability, mobility, performance, and independence as we age.
SunNutrition develops targeted plant-based nutrition to support both.
Vascular Defense™ supports the FLOW with systemic enzymes and concentrated botanicals formulated for healthy circulation, blood flow, nitric oxide production, and vascular function.
MuscleSignal™ supports the SIGNAL + BUILD with non-synthetic plant peptides, 18 amino acids, and 3 g of fermented L-Leucine to support muscle protein synthesis, recovery, and healthy muscle maintenance.
Plant-Based. System-Focused. Purposefully Formulated.
We believe nature gives us extraordinary nutritional tools. We also believe those tools should be applied with purpose.
Instead of chasing individual symptoms or short-term trends, SunNutrition looks at foundational systems involved in strength, movement, performance, and healthy aging.
Plant-Based by Design
We look first to plants and naturally derived nutritional compounds.
System-Focused
We formulate around foundational systems that help keep the body active and capable.
Purposeful Formulation
Every ingredient should have a reason for being there.
Built for the Long Term
Our goal is nutritional support for the years, movement, and experiences ahead.
Meet the Founders
For Denley Fowlke, the connection between nutrition and health began early in life and evolved into decades of exploration into plant-based nutrition and natural wellness.
For Nick Stern, a background in competitive athletics developed into more than six decades of self-directed research into nutrition, supplementation, performance, and healthy aging.
Their paths first crossed in 2007. Their shared ideas helped launch Sunwarrior. Nearly two decades later, they reunited to create SunNutrition and focus their experience on a new chapter:
Helping people stay strong, active, and capable as they age.
What Are You Staying Strong For?
Healthy aging looks different for everyone.
Another mountain. Another trip. Another morning at the gym. Another adventure with the people you love. Or simply having the strength and mobility to continue living life on your terms.
Whatever you're staying strong for, SunNutrition is here to support the systems that help get you there.
